Our sincere condolences to the Mendez-Velasquez family. From personal experience, we know how painful the death of a loved one can be. One thing that helped our family was reading words of consolation from The Holy Scriptures. One scripture that we know is what our lord Jesus said in John 5:28 which reads: "Do not be amazed, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". The hope of a resurrection can bring us much hope and comfort. If you would like to read The Holy Scriptures directly on the website, go to: www.jw.org.
