George P. Elefsiades Sr

George P. Elefsiades, 75, of Cowden Street, Central Falls passed away on Sunday at home in his sleep of natural causes. He was the husband of Bertha (Paquette) Elefsiades. George was born in Washington DC, the son of the late George and Betty Lee (Jenkins) Elefsiades and was a lifelong resident of Central Falls. He had been employed as a machinist for several years at Lawson Products and had also worked at Jack & Irv's Hardware store in Central Falls for many years before retiring. George had served in the US Coast Guard.. He also was the husband of the late Shirley Elefsiades and father of the late Bartholmew Elefsiades who passed away several  years ago.

Besides his wife Bertha, he leaves 2 daughters, Kathleen Borges of Pawtucket and Margarita Elefsiades of Providence; 3 sons, George P. Elefsiades Jr of Cumberland, Luke Elefsiades of So. Kingstown and Aristottle  Elefsiades of Seekonk. He also leaves a brother Thomas Elefsiades of Florida and Donald Elefsiades of Central Falls, two sisters, Gloria DeAgostino of Florida and Marika Elefsiades of Washington DC, 15 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Prayer Service wil be held Friday at 12:30 PM in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home, 151 Cross St. Central Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home from 10 AM. Burial wil follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket.
