Robert D. Baker, 93, passeed away Monday April 27th at the VA Hospital Davis Park, Providence after an illness. Robert was born in Manhattan, New York to Charles D. and Vera (Green) Baker. He has resided in the Darlington section of Pawtucket, Rhode Island for the last 35 years. He had been employed in the District Attorney's Office for several years before retiring. He also served in the US Army for 5 years during WW II. His only survivor is Donald Magill who was his principal care-giver and lifelong friend.
There will be a Committal Service with Military Honors at the RI Veteran's Cemetery, Columbarium Chapel, Exeter, RI on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 11:30 in the morning. Inurnment will follow in the Columbarium.
