To say this has been a difficult year for my family is an understatement. It was only eleven months ago my brother Ron passed away, and since then we've lost two great aunts and, most recently, my mom. Thankfully, we have each other for support. It's the special memories I cherish and which will, hopefully, help me through this. Some of my simplest memories are: picturing my mom's exemplary penmanship or her well manicured nails, remembering the sound of her beautiful "telephone" voice or the smell of her delicious meat stuffing or a favorite perfume. I also attribute the following to my mom: my love of music (Elvis, Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond and Tom Jones to name a few), my good spelling and grammar skills and my fondness for Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford (after seeing "The Way We Were" with her). I will also treasure our family vacations in New Hampshire, Virginia, Cape Cod and Florida and the fashion shows, PPAC concerts and Morgan Stanley Christmas parties we attended together. Thanks for the wonderful memories, mom. Although your time here was certainly not long enough, I'm forever grateful for the special memories we shared together. May you rest in peace with Ron. Love always, K.

Dear Kerri and family,
As I remember my last conversation with Jeanie, she was laughing and speaking very fondly of her children and grandchildren saying how very proud she is of all of you! Her smile is your smile and will be reflected on all of your faces. Loosing a parent is difficult, however some how, some way we feel them around us when we least expect it.

Grammy these next two day are going to be the hardest I've ever faced. I'm at peace knowing you are in a better place and no longer suffering. Your endless love and support will be with me every single day. I couldn't have asked for a better last day with you, when you turned to me and said "I just wanna look at you a little longer." Those words and your bright smile will live with me as long as I do. I will take poppa under my wing as you two have always done for me in my 25 years of life, don't worry about him. He will always be my right hand man, my best friend and I know you are watching over us all. Love always, Chris

The most heartbreaking thing I have ever had to do was say goodbye to you. Thank you for the endless laughs, support, and love. Heaven gained a beautiful angel with the biggest heart. I wish I could hear your laugh one last time. I know you'll be watching over me in everything that I do. I love you forever and always, Gram, and I miss you more than words can describe. Rest in peace lovey.
