Wendy Stott Obituary

Wendy June Stott 65 of Pawtucket passed away on October 20, 2022 at The Miriam Hospital in Providence.  She was born on June 12, 1957 in Attleboro, MA, Wendy was the daughter of the late Walter and Grace Roundsville Stott.  Wendy is reunited with the love of her life, her husband the late Douglas Miller. 

Ms. Stott grew up and was educated in Attleboro, graduating as a member of the Class of 1975 at Attleboro High School.  She was accomplished in her work; becoming the first woman inducted into the Local 1305 Fall River Woman in Construction Union.  Wendy was proud to be a member of the crew that built I-495 all the way to “The Cape”.  She also held jobs with; a fish hatchery, Polaroid and The Wrentham State School.

Wendy kept up to date with what was happening, especially with style.  She wore silver jewelry and dressed in the latest fashion.  Ms. Stott loved the beach and would never say no to fried clams and lobster. 

Music has always been a big part of Wendy’s life.  She attended many concerts when she was in high school and most recently, sang and danced to Bruno Mars with her grandkids.  Wendy loved playing cards, cribbage and scrabble, which was her absolute favorite.  She was a talented cook and often followed her own mother’s recipes.  Weekends were for watching movies and baking chocolate chip cookies with her granddaughters.  

Wendy is reunited with her son the late Dustin Stott-Miller and survived by her children; Corey Stott-Miller and Shayna Stott-Miller.  She is the proud grandmother of Gracie Gomes, Sariah Goncalves and Remedy Gonsalves.  The beloved mother in law of Lynn Gomes and Joao Goncalves.  Wendy was the sister of Dianne Governo and the late Paula Kilpatrick and the late James Stott.

Calling Hours will be held from 4-6pm on Thursday November 10th in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.
