Wayne A. Martel

Wayne A. Martel 51 of Central Falls passed away on February 10, 2026, at The Miriam Hospital in Providence.  He was born in Pawtucket on June 13, 1974, son of Roberta St. Pierre and Ronald Martel.

Wayne resided in Central Falls for several years.  He worked as a Security Officer at the Rhode Island Hospital, where he was well respected, climbing the ranks in the department.  Wayne loved the United States and was a passionate supporter of the 45th and 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump.  He was the trusted friend that everyone went to for advice.  Mr. Martel was a quiet man who minded his own business.  A guilty passion of his was online shopping, he loved it.

Wayne A. Martel leaves behind his beloved daughter Courtney and her husband Kyle. Wayne is survived by his mother Roberta St. Pierre, his father Ronald Martel and his wife Joann. He was the brother of Rick Martel and his wife Dena and the late Kevin Martel, with whom he is reunited.  Mr. Martel leaves behind his nephews Kevin Martel, Nicholas Martel and Brandon Martel.

In accordance with Mr. Martel’s wishes all services will be private.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.
