Virginia C. Duprey of Coventry for the past 48 years, passed away on May 7, 2026, at the age of 87, at Kent County Medical Center in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard E. Duprey, to whom she shared 54 years of marriage.
Born in Central Falls, RI om August 28, 1938, Virginia was the daughter of the late Sophie (Sleczkowski) and John Baldyga. She spent several years living in Pawtucket prior to moving to Coventry.
Virginia was employed by Adams Furniture of Pawtucket for 56 years, retiring in 2012 as a bookkeeper and salesperson.
She was devoted to her family and loved painting, bowling and collecting antiques.
Virginia C. Duprey leaves her sons, Richard J. Duprey and his wife Bethany of West Warwick, David P. Duprey and his wife Ann of Coventry and Eric G. Duprey of Coventry. Proud grandmother of Dean Duprey and Devin Duprey. Beloved aunt of several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Duprey is reunited with her sister, the late Dorothy Poliquin.
In accordance with the Duprey’s wishes all services will be celebrated privately. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.
