Victoria Rivera Serrano, of Pawtucket, passed away last Saturday at Miriam Hospital in Providence at the age of 92. She was the wife of the late Juan Nieves Toledo. She was born in Aricebo, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Alberto Rivera Gualarama and Candida Serrano Colon and had lived in Rhode Island several years, previously living in New Jersey. She had been employed as a seamstress in the garment industry in New Jersey for many years before moving to Rhode Island.
She is survived by a daughters Josefina Nieves in Puerto Rico, two brothers, Lucio Rivera serrano and Carlos Rivera Serrano both of Pawtucket and a sister Elena Rivera Serrano in Puerto Rico. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Ricardita Nieves who passed away last April. She also leaves 9 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
VISITATION will be held WEDNESDAY morning in the Coelho Home, from 9 AM with a Service at 11AM. Burial will follow in Woodlawn No. Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro.
Social distancing and face masks are required, and a limit of 15 people in the funeral at one time.
