Valentino "Sonny" H. Freeman III

Valentino "Sonny" H. Freeman III of Central Falls passed away on May 26, 2022 at The Miriam Hospital in Providence.  Mr. Freeman was 84 years old.  He was born on March 28, 1938 in New Bedford, MA and was the son of the late Valentino H. Freeman, Jr. and Dorothy Garcia Freeman. Sonny was the husband of Penny Halliger Freeman of Central Falls. He worked as for many years an iron worker.  

Sonny is survived by his children Valentino H. "Lucky" Freeman IV of East Providence, Michael Freeman of Florida, De-Rome Chretien of Virginia, Valerie Shepard of Pawtucket and Brian Castro of Providence.  He was the brother of Virginia Nieves of Pawtucket, Geraldine De Pina of North Providence, Carole Montiero of Pawtucket, Robin Rogers of Tennessee, Ronald Freeman of Providence, Barry Freeman of Pawtucket and the late Wayne Freeman and the late Shirley Jackson.  Sonny also leaves behind his special pet JoJo.  

Memorial Services for Sonny will be held from 6-8PM on Wednesday June 1st in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.
