Obituary
Usha Kumari Nehra 84 of Warwick, RI, passed away peacefully with her loved ones on March 8, 2023. She was the wife of the late Kulbhushan P. Nehra.
Mrs. Nehra was born on November 22, 1938 in New Delhi, India, and was the daughter of the late Ram Piyari Kashyap and Ram Nath Kashyap. She worked as a bank teller for many years for Citizens Bank, and was also the CFO for her husband’s company, Nehra, Inc. In her retirement she enjoyed being a school lunch monitor at the Warwick, RI schools. Usha was an amazing cook and loved cooking for her family and friends. She and her husband traveled widely, and they especially loved taking cruises. Winning at gin rummy was her forte, and she also enjoyed playing bridge.
She is survived by her loving family: brothers in law Ram Nehra and Ramesh Sood; her sons Mandeep and Sandeep and daughter Rashmi, daughters-in-law Monica and Sumiksha and son-in-law Stephen, as well as her grandchildren Amit, Jake, Amisha, Ashna, and Shalini; along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Funeral Rites will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday March 11th in the Chapel of Hope of Memory at Swan Point Cemetery 585 Blackstone Blvd. in Providence.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.
