Tara Shah

On Friday, March 26, 2021, Tara Shah, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at the age of 85. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Anil Shah. Tara passed away peacefully, with her family close by her side.

She was born in Mumbai, India in 1935. She was a daughter to Fatechand and Samta Shah. After moving to Rhode Island, she was employed as a seamstress for Health-Tex. She spent nearly 50 years as a beloved member of the local community.

In addition to her husband, Tara is survived by her three sons- Kekin and his wife Sandy, Nikhil and his wife Sachi, and Parag and his wife Swati.

She leaves five beloved grandchildren- Nina and her husband Reid, Nishant, Rahil, Sonali, and Kelly. She was the grandmother to the late Rohan Shah as well.

In India, Tara leaves behind her two brothers, Pradeep and his wife Raksha Shah, and Mahendra and his wife Sadhna Shah. Tara leaves behind three sisters as well; Harsha and her husband Mahesh Savadia, Panna and her late husband Dushyant Parekh, and Kalpana and her late husband Praful Parekh. She was the sister of the late Dhiraj and his wife Bhanu Shah.  

Due to the rules regarding COVID-19, all funeral services will be private. We ask that you keep her in your prayers.
