Stephen Guyot a resident of North Attleboro, MA for the past 46 years passed away on February 9, 2026, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. Mr. Guyot was 76 years old. He was the beloved husband of Diane (Preneta) Guyot.
Mr. Guyot was born in Providence, RI on July 10, 1949, son of the late Amey (Field) and Marshall Guyot. Stephen served as President of his family’s business, Guyot Brothers, Inc, where the company specialized in ornamenting and stamping in the jewelry industry. In addition to his duties at his company, Mr. Guyot also served on a variety of boards and organizations dedicated to his profession.
An avid golfer, Mr. Guyot was a proud member of the former Highland Country Club in Attleboro. He was well liked by his fellow members, making friendships and contacts that lasted a lifetime. Stephen held the game of golf close to his heart, so much so that he later became a published historian of his beloved game. The highlight of his love affair with the game of golf came in the form of a Hole in One, an accomplishment that remains elusive for so many golfers.
Stephen Robert Guyot is survived by his cherished wife Diane (Preneta) Guyot of North Attleboro. He was the brother of Marsha Leary of South Attleboro, Andrea Twombly of Attleboro and the late Carole Guyot. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Friday February 13th from 9-11am in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery 661 Prospect St. in Pawtucket.
