Socorro Castro, 55, of Pawtucket, Passed away at Miriam Hospital after an illness. She was the former wife of Miguel Perez. Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, a daughter of Jesus Castro and Maria Luisa Gonzalez, she moved to Rhode Island in 1983 and settled in Pawtucket. She had been employed in the jewelry industry at the former Sanford White Co. of Central Falls.
Besides her former husband, she leaves a son Miguel Perez of Woonsocket, three daughters, Nelly Perez of Pawtucket, Omayra Perez of Springfield, MA and Jacqueline Perez of Woonsocket. She also leaves three sisters, Elba Lacroix and Norma Rosario both of Pawtucket and Milagros Rodriguez of Central Falls; three brothers , Ramon Rodriguez of Pawtucket, Hector Rosario and Reinaldo Rodriguez both of Providence and eleven grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
VISITATION will be held Wednesday February 12th from 5 until 8 PM in the Coelho HOme, Central GFalls. Relatives and friends are respectfully welcome to attend.
