Silvia Beatriz Gaviria

Silvia Beatriz Gaviria 63 of Pawtucket passed away on October 5, 2024 at The Miriam Hospital in Providence.  Mrs. Gaviria was the wife of Luis E. Gaviria.

Mrs. Gaviria was born on September 29, 1961 in Remedios, Calvaria, Guatemala to the late Maria Cristina Ramos and Jorge Velarde.  Silvia immigrated to the United States in 1989 and settled in Pawtucket.  A devote Catholic, Silvia and her husband were parishioners of St. Jean Baptiste on Quincy Ave. in Pawtucket.  She was a dedicated homemaker, an exceptional mother, grandmother and wife whose impact will be felt by those her knew her and loved her. 

In addition to her husband Luis of Pawtucket, Mrs. Gaviria is survived by her children Luis Roberto Gaviria, Jr. of Woonsocket, Cristian Eduardo Gaviria of Pawtucket and Natalia Alijandra Gaviria of Worcester, MA.  She was a proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren.  Silvia was the sister of Eduardo Bolanos of California, Mario Bolanos, Luis Bolanos, Armando Bolanos and Roberto Bolanos all of Guatemala.  She is reunited with her brother the Ramon Bolanos and her sister the late Victoria Bolanos. 

Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday October 9th from 6-8pm in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St in Central Falls.  A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday October 10th at 10:30am in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery 661 Prospect St. in Pawtucket.
