Shirley A. White, 64, passed away on Tuesday, January 21st at Rhode Island Hospital. Born and raised in Rhode Island , Shirley spent her life residing in Pawtucket. She was the daughter of the late George and Colombe (Benoit) Cunha of Pawtucket, RI.
Shirley is survived by her six children, 8 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and a niece all of whom she loved deeply. She is also survived by her three brothers, Douglas, Philip and Keith, loving daughters-in-law and sister-in-law. She was a loving "nana" to all. She attended Pawtucket public schools and worked around the city. She had attended St. Mary's Church and was a longtime volunteer for the old Woodlawn Cowboys youth football organization. She had been a proud and dedicated 'friend of Bill W.' for the last 30 years. Shirley was the rock of her family, who were the most importatnt thing in her world. Her love and light that followed her, will be missed terribly by those fortunate enough to call her family and friend.
Family and friends will be received at the Coelho Home in Central Falls, MONDAY EVENING, from 5 until 7 PM with a Memorial Service at 7 PM
