Sharon A. Quinn passed away peacefully on December 1, 2023 surrounded by her family and loved ones at her residence 130 Dover Avenue, East Providence.
Born in Pawtucket, RI on January 22, 1956 to the late Joseph Quinn and Erma (Eastwood) Laplume and her step father Herve Laplume. She was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
Sharon is survived by her siblings, Nancy Quinn, Brian Quinn, Colleen Strom (Quinn), Joanne Quinn and Herve Laplume. She is predeceased by her brother David Quinn and sister Patricia Ferreira (Quinn). She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends in the Blackstone Valley area.
Her memory will be treasured and kept in the hearts of her loved ones. She leaves behind a world that was undoubtedly better for her presence, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a client of the ARC of Blackstone Valley for many years and lived independently with the help from staff for over 25 years. Sharon enjoyed music, singing, dancing, spending time with family, iced coffee and a sprinkle donut. She was a feisty girl and always told it like it was. She was an excellent advocate for herself and lived her life her way, she was the boss and that's the way she liked it. We now have another Angel to watch over us.
A Private service for family will be held December 27th at 1 PM flowers are respectfully omitted.
Donations in her memory may be made to The Arc of Blackstone Valley, 500 Prospect Street # 203, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
