Ruth MacCall

Ruth MacCall, 86, was born  in Bar Harbor, Maine and passed away December 11th in Providence. She was the youngest daughter of the late William and Hazel MacCall of Maine and the sister of the late  Elizabeth MacCall, Eveline Matterese, David MacCall and Air Force Sargent,  Bronze Star Recipient, Marion "Mike"  MacCall of Ohio. She has a niece, Marian Newman.

She left behind her beloved husband, UnSong Chong of Providence. Ruth had fond relationships with staff at Corliss Institute, who supported her marriage celebration and union with UnSong Chong for many years. Ruth enjoyed going to Catholic Services supporting the deaf at Saint Jean Baptiste Catholic  Church in Warren. She also enjoyed crafts, dressing up for holidays and parties, wearing festive hats at all occasions, sharing little gifts, and most especially enjoyed relationships with family and friends.

A Graveside Service  will take place on Wednesday, at 10:30 AM at North Burial Ground, 5 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends rae welcome to attend and may gather at the entrance to the cemetery.
