Roger Albert Joseph Methot

Roger Albert Joseph Methot 81 of Pascoag formerly of Woonsocket died peacefully on the
evening of August 21, 2023 at Bayberry Commons.

Roger was born on January 1, 1942 in Woonsocket to the late Philippe and Alvina
(LaPlume) Methot. Mr. Methot was the definition of the words “work ethic”, proving this
from a young age when he sold newspapers to make money for his family. He would later
go on to leave high school in order to employment and support his parents. Mr. Methot’s
selfless nature and work ethic was the perfect combination for his time as a soldier in the
United States Army. He was extremely proud of his honorable service to our country.

Mr. Methot worked for many years at the Wrentham State School in Wrentham, MA and he
was also self-employed as a cab driver. He enjoyed watching American Classic movies and
TV programs as well as the news, particularly CNN.

Roger is survived by his beloved sons Robert “Bobby” Methot and Richard “Rick” Methot
and his wife Tammy all of Woonsocket. He was the loving grandfather of Cody Mazzarelli,
Samantha Fafard, Ryan Methot and Ashley Harrington. Mr. Methot was a proud great
grandfather of 7. Along with his parents, Roger is re united with his 4 late siblings.

Private Cremation will be performed in accordance with Roger’s wishes. Service
information will be announced in the coming days. Arrangements entrusted to the
Charles Coelho Funeral Home of Central Falls.
