Roderick J. Aptt, who just turned 65 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care in Providence after a battle with cancer. He was the former husband of Elaine (LaPalme) Aptt. He was born in Attleboro , MA, a son of the late William and Beverly (Burton) Aptt and had lived most of his life in the Attleboro area. He had been employed as a roofer for many year for the J. Munger Roofing Co.
Rickt loved his family and adored his Grandchildren. He was a lover of all kinds of animals, an avid Patriots fan, loved Rock & Roll music and enjoyed relaxing with cold 'Natural Ice', and in his younger days, Mr. Aptt was an avid Harley enthusiast. But most of all, his Granchildren were his life...
He is survived by three daughters, Natasha Falke of Boston, Elisha Aptt and her Companion, Dennis Hiraldo, with whom he made his home in Central Falls, and Nicole Aptt of Warwick. He also leaves 2 two brothers, Jeffrey and David Aptt both of Pawtucket; five sisters, Marcia Rowan of Attleboro, Jennifer McGinn of Warwick, Stacia Aptt and Cheryl Sanders both of Pawtucket. He also leaves his cherished Grandchildren, Angelena, Dennis Jr. and Anastasia Hiraldo and Dylan Esposito. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and loved ones.. He was the brother of the late Buddy and Billy Aptt. and a sister Stephanie Aptt.

His family will receive relatives and friends at calling hours in the COELHO HOME, Central Falls on MONDAY, 6 until 8 PM. A Funeral Prayer Service will begin at 7:45 PM.
