Robert White Obituary

Robert S. White, 67, of Woonsocket, R.I. and formerly of Holliston, MA., passed away March 17, 2024 at the Hope Hostice Center in Providence, RI after an illness. He was the son of the late Robert J. White and Eva M. (Ash) White, previously of Tomball, TX. He was the husband of Lisa M. (Capenito) White.

Robert grew up in Holliston, and attended Holliston High Schol, class of 1976. He was a 1988 graduate of U-Mass Boston, with a Masters Degree in Nursing. He was employed as a registered Nurse Practitioner at Norwood and Southwood/ Pondville hospitals, and at several nursing homes. He was also a Paramedic with Norfolk / Bristol Ambulance Service in Norwood.

Robert was a dedicated Pluviophile, having a profound love for rainstorms and Nor'Easter rainstorms. He was an accomplished musician, playing many instruments he taught himself to play. He enjoyed performing and recording with his band "No Such Thing".  He was a Model Shipwright and a licensed pilot. His passion was nostalgia, collecting non-sport bubblegum cards, old tape recorders - which he restored  - as well as many toys and items from his childhood. A devoted Christian and family man, he loved his family very much and attending the Water's Church. He also loved Shelties, Cardinals and Siamese Fighting Fish. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Missy Liberty of Oahu, HI. Kelly L. White, and her husband Jamie of Woonsocket, RI. His son James R. White, of Woonsocket, RI. Grandson Daniel A. "The Pterodactyl" White, of Woonsocket, RI. Sisters, Barbara L. (White) Budge,,of Framingham, MA. Carol A. (White) Seeley, of Houston, TX. He also is survived by his father-in-law James Capenito of Bellingham, MA. Suster-in-law, Sharon A. Pare' and brother-in-law  Mark N. Pare' of Bellingham, MA. Nieces and nephews, including, Jonathan Pare and his wife Shelby of Bellingham, Christian and Annalise Budge, of Framingham, Scott and Jamie Dion of Bellingham. He is predeceased by two brothers.

A Memorial Service will take place at a date and time to be announced in St. Mary's Church in Holliston and at Water's Church in Woonsocket, RI.
