Robert Varela Obituary

Robert Varela, 62, of Cumberland, Passed away peacefully at home on March 14th. He was the husband of Diane Varela. Born in Providence a son of the late Edward and Catherine (Woods) Varela. Robert was painter for several years.

Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Michele Elgar of Central Falls and Dawn Branca of Johnston. He also leaves three brothers, Michael Varela of Seekonk, Joseph Varela of Cumberland and Mark Varela of Central Falls, two sisters, Doreen Varela of Seekonk and Dawn Pommenville of Providence, eight Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday in the Coelho Home, Central Falls, from 2 until 4 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
