Robert Joseph Desjardin

Robert Joseph Desjardin, Sr. a lifelong resident of Pawtucket passed away on the evening of August 31, 2025 at Kent Regency Nursing and Rehabilitation in Warwick.  Mr. Desjardin was 83 years old. 

Robert was born on September 9, 1941 in Pawtucket to his parents, the late Mary (Teixeira) and Theodore Desjardin.  A naturally hardworking man from his youth, Robert left high school early and spent his life as a delivery truck driver, working for several furniture companies throughout his career including, Reliable Furniture and Max Pollock. 

He was a well-liked and kind person.  His heart was big and open to all, especially his children and grandchildren. 

In addition to his wife Joanne, Mr. Desjardin is survived by his sons Eric Desjardin and Robert J. Desjardin, Jr., both of Central Falls.  He was the proud grandfather of Seath Picchi, Noah Picchi and Taylor Picchi.  Robert was the loving brother of Joseph Desjardin, Richard Desjardin, Dennis Desjardin, Elaine LaPlante and the late Virigina Moody and the late Theodore Desjardin.

All services in accordance with Robert’s wishes will be private.  Arrangements entrusted to the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. in Central Falls.
