Richard Edward Pellerin of Warwick formerly of Woonsocket passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024 at Philip Hulitar-Hope Hospice in Providence. Mr. Pellerin was 70 years old. He was the husband of the late Mary S. (Lehman) Pellerin who passed away in 2019.
Mr. Pellerin was born in Woonsocket on November 7, 1953, son of the late Margarite and Andre Pellerin. Richard was raised and educated in Woonsocket. He spent time living in Providence and had called Warwick home since 2005. Mr. Pellerin was employed by R.I.P.T.A. as a mechanic in the organization’s body shop for 30 years until his retirement in 2019.
Richard enjoyed spending time outdoors, he especially loved camping. He was an animal lover and was talented with his hands, as he could fix anything. Deep down, he was a kind soul, outgoing and generous to others. More than anything else, Mr. Pellerin will always be remembered as a great Dad.
Richard Edward Pellerin is reunited with his late wife Mary S. Pellerin. He is survived by his 5 children: Jason, Justin, Sarah, Michael and Matthew. Mr. Pellerin was the proud grandfather of: Maddison, Ethan, Jason, Joshua, Jasmine, Ashlei, Jenea, Anthony, Juliette, Carissa and Jonathan.
In accordance with Mr. Pellerin’s wishes all services will be held privately for family members. Arrangements are under the care of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home of Central Falls.
