Richard Campbell 62, passed away suddenly at The Miriam Hospital in Providence on Sunday September 7, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Lina Maria Valencia Arango of Colombia.
Mr. Campbell was the son of Blanca Teresa (Lozano) and Samuel Antonio Campbell. Richard attended trade school for automotives repair, a field he had a natural set of skills and talent in. He worked as a machinist for several years until his retirement. Richard also owned property and was a self-employed landlord.
He was an incredibly responsible and diligent person. Helping people was something that made him feel good and added to his trademark happy and good-willed nature. An animal lover, Richard enjoyed birds and his dog.
In addition to his loving wife and parents, Mr. Campbell is survived by his brothers Donald Campbell of North Providence, Samuel Antonio Campbell and his wife Elexi of Warwick and Roland Campbell of Central Falls. He was the proud uncle of Samuel Alexander Campbell, Richie Campbell and Donald Campbell, Jr. Mr. Campbell also leaves several relatives throughout Rhode Island and his native Colombia.
Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Thursday September 11th from 4-7pm in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls. A Catholic prayer service will be celebrated for Richard during the visitation. Richard will returned to Colombia for burial.
Richard Campbell, de 62 años, falleció repentinamente en el Hospital Miriam de Providence el domingo 7 de septiembre de 2025. Fue el amado esposo de Lina María Valencia Arango de Colombia.
El Sr. Campbell era hijo de Blanca Teresa (Lozano) y Samuel Antonio Campbell. Richard asistió a la escuela de oficios para la reparación de automóviles, un campo en el que tenía un conjunto natural de habilidades y talento. Trabajó como maquinista durante varios años hasta su jubilación. Richard también poseía propiedades y era propietario por cuenta propia.
Era una persona increíblemente responsable y diligente. Ayudar a la gente era algo que lo hacía sentir bien y se sumaba a su característica naturaleza feliz y de buena voluntad. Amante de los animales, Richard disfrutaba de los pájaros y su perro.
Además de su amada esposa y sus padres, al Sr. Campbell le sobreviven sus hermanos Donald Campbell de North Providence, Samuel Antonio Campbell y su esposa Elexi de Warwick y Roland Campbell de Central Falls. Era el orgulloso tío de Samuel Alexander Campbell, Richie Campbell y Donald Campbell, Jr. Campbell también deja varios parientes en todo Rhode Island y su Colombia natal.
El horario de visita, al que se invita cordialmente a familiares y amigos, se llevará a cabo el jueves 11 de septiembre de 4 a 7 p.m. en la funeraria Charles Coelho, 151 Cross St., Central Falls. Se celebrará un servicio de oración católica para Richard durante la visita. Richard regresará a Colombia para su entierro.
