Richard Paul Bissonnette

Richard P. Bissonnette, 72, a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, passed away at Oak Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation, after an illness. He was the devoted companion of Jean DeWitt. He was born in Providence, the son of the late Paul and Colombe (Benoit) Bissonette. 

Richard had been employed for over 30 years at Bell Fasteners as a sales representative and had also worked in personnel. He was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War and was discharged at the rank of Sergeant after serving nearly three years.He leaves no immediate family survivors.

A Committal Prayer Service, with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, February 5th in the Columbarium Chapel at the Rhode Island Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI.
