Renee Michelle Crowley affectionately known as “Nay-Nay” passed away on Friday April 26th at Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice in Providence following a long illness. Renee was 36 years old. Miss Crowley was the loving mother of Abigail Proost and Dennis “DJ” Wilding.
Renee was born on August 26, 1987 at Boston City Hospital to her parents Barabara Crowley and the late Michael Doyle. As a child, Miss Crowley was raised Catholic and was a member of St. Monica, St. Peter & St. Paul and St. Vincent Parishes. She would go on to live in Quincy during her teenage years and graduated from North Quincy High School in 2006. Miss Crowley had been a resident of Pawtucket for the past 14 years.
From the very start Renee was an animal lover who took home strays any chance she had. She had an incredible loving heart and cared about those she loved deeply. Miss Crowley loved singing and those closest to her loved hearing her project her beautiful signing voice. Renee was simply “Renee” as she was stubborn and an independent person. She was a pain in the ass but, that’s what made her “Nay-Nay” to her family and friends. Last and certainly not least, Renee was a fighter and she had to be. Through it all Renee simply loved life and her family.
In addition to her children and her mother “Nay-Nay” is survived by her siblings; her twin sister Erica Crowley of Braintree, MA, Lisa Crowley of Quincy, MA and Matthew Crowley of Maine. She was the loving “Aunite Nay-Nay” of Dylon, Alyssa, Breeana, Amarii, violet and Nolyn. Renee is reunited with her Dad the late Michael Doyle.
In accordance with her wishes a private cremation will take place. The Coelho Home of Central Falls, RI has been entrusted with Renee’s arrangements.
