Rene Melgar

Rene Melgar Florian of Lincoln passed away on October 11, 2025, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence.  He was 86 years old.  Mr. Melgar was the husband of Guadalupe Mujo Palencia de Melgar. 

Born on March 31, 1939 in Retalhuleu, Guatemala.  Mr. Melgar worked in construction for several years of his life.  He was a good man and a great father. 

In addition to her wife, he is survived by his loving children and grandchildren as well as a host of relatives and friends. 

All services will be held private.  Arrangements entrusted to the Charles Coelho Funeral Home of Central Falls.
