Raiza Lozada of Providence passed away at the age of 60 years old on April 21, 2026, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was born on August 29, 1965, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, daughter to Priamo Lozada and Maritza Vega. She worked as a hairdresser for several years.
Raiza was plain and simple, an amazing woman. Her heart was big and she cared for the well-being of others. She was the type of person who would take the shirt off her back if it meant helping a friend or family member. A magnificent mother and grandmother, family was everything to Miss Lozada. Raiza had an incredible sense of humor and was always dressed to the nines, her hair and nails always perfect.
Raiza Lozada is survived by her children; Zaira Lozada and Rasheed Lozada. She was the proud grandmother of Jezlyn, Jarilyn, Jeidalyn, Elijah and Zeus. Miss Lozada was the beloved sister of Priamo Lozada, Evelyn Lozada, Priamo Lozada, Rosa Lozada, Darwin Lozada, Irving Lozada, Sevigne Lozada, Priamin Lozada and Alex Lozada. She is reunited with her late siblings; Manolito and Angelie.
Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held 5-8pm on Friday April 24th in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.
