Rafael Alfonso Navarro Mendoza

Rafael Alfonso Navarro Mendoza of Pawtucket passed away on September 6, 2022 at the age of 76 under the care of The Miriam Hospital in Providence.  Mr. Navarro was born on December 6, 1945 in Colombia.

Rafael was the loving father of Martha Navarro, Monica Navarro and the late Victor Navarro.  Mr. Navarro was a proud grandfather of 6 and a great grandfather of 5.  He was the brother to 12 siblings and the uncle to 63 nieces and nephews. 

For many years Rafael worked for Hasbro Toys on Newport Ave. in Pawtucket as a maintenance worker.  He loved his family more than anything.  Mr. Navarro was also an avid baseball fan, especially  of his beloved New York Yankees.

Visiting Hours will be held Monday September 12th from 4-7 in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Rafael on Tuesday September 13th at 9:30am in Holy Spirit-St.Mathieu's Church 1030 Dexter St. Central Falls.

Rafael Alfonso Navarro Mendoza de Pawtucket falleció el 6 de septiembre de 2022 a la edad de 76 años bajo el cuidado del Hospital Miriam en Providence. Sr. Navarro nació el 6 de diciembre de 1945 en Colombia.
Rafael era el padre amoroso de Martha Navarro, Monica Navarro y el difunto Víctor Navarro. Sr. Navarro era un orgulloso abuelo de 6 años y un bisabuelo de 5. Era el hermano de 12 hermanos y el tío de 63 sobrinas y sobrinos.
Durante muchos años, Rafael trabajó para Hasbro Toys en Newport Ave. en Pawtucket como trabajador de mantenimiento. Amaba a su familia más que a nada. Sr. Navarro también era un ávido fanático del béisbol, especialmente de sus queridos Yankees de Nueva York.
Las horas de visita se llevarán a cabo el lunes 12 de septiembre de 4-7 en la funeraria Charles Coelho 151 Cross St. Cataratas del centro. Se celebrará una misa de entierro cristiano para Rafael el martes 13 de septiembre a las 9:30 a.m. en la Iglesia del Espíritu Santo-San Mathieu 1030 Dexter St. Cataratas del centro.
