Paul J. Tessitore

Paul J. Tessitore 79 of Johnston died peacefully on April 19, 2025 at Sunny View Nursing Home in Warwick.  He was born in Providence, RI on July 8, 1945 and was the son of the late Phyllis Sponedda and Costantino Tessitore. 

Paul enlisted in the United States Army in 1963.  He owned several businesses throughout his life.  When he was not working, Paul cheered avidly for the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Paul was the beloved brother of Linda Tessitore of Johnston.  He was the uncle of several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, private cremation will take place. A Committal Service with Military Honors to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be conducted in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery 301 S. County Trail in Exeter on Tuesday April 29th at 11:00am.
