Nuno Resendes was born on December 16, 1976 in St. Michael Azores, Portugal. He immigrated to Rhode Island at just 2 years old. Nuno grew ip in Pawtucket, RI, attending Tolman High School where he made lifelong friends. Nuno was a kind soul who loved animals. He would take in homeless cats and make sure they were fed and had a warm place to sleep. He was a brother and a son as well as a friend to many. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His unexpected passing leaves a huge hole in our hearts. He will never be forgotten. He is now at peace with our Creator.
He leaves behind his mother, Madalena Resendes of Cumberland, a father, Luciano Resendes of Cumberland, his three sisters, Ana Resendes of Providence, Luisa Resendes of Cranston and Delia Barberio of Wilton, Ct., his big brother Manuel Resendes of Smithfield, his loving nephew James Pike of Cumberland and his 2 nieces, Ava Wilson and Maia Wilson also of Cumberland. He leaves many uncles, aunts and cousins as well.
A Time of Remembrance will be held in the Coelho Funeral Home, 151 Cross St. Central Falls, SATURDAY, from 3 until 5 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
