Nancy Ann (Carvalho) Noddings

Nancy Ann (Carvalho) Noddings passed away at home surrounded by her family on May 26th, 2021 at age 66 after a long and valiant battle with breast cancer. She was a caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, and dear friend.

Nancy was born to Lillian and Americo Carvalho on July 4th, 1954 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and every year the Independence Day fireworks shone for her. She grew up next door to a good friend, Albert, who she would later re-connect with and eventually marry in south Florida. Together, they had 2 sons: Brandon and Travis.

Nancy loved spending her time helping others – she spent her free time volunteering at the local soup kitchen to feed those in need and took care of large families of stray cats together with her husband. A few of those strays even wiggled their way into their home.

Nancy is survived by her husband, sons, mother Lillian, sister Christine, nieces Casey, Jade, and Susan, nephew Sean, and all their loving families.
