Milton Powers Obituary

Milton N. Powers, 71, of Pascoag and formerly of Pawtucket, passed away at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence after complications of a stroke. He was the husband of the late Bernice (Greene) Powers.  Milton was born in Pawtucket a son of the late Milton N. and Esther (Walsh) Powers and lived most of his life in the city. Milton served in the U.S. Army in the late 60's.  He later had been employed by the former Howard Johnsons in Pawtucket several years. He managed restaurants the majority of his life, then volunteered at the Central Falls Food Bank.

He is survived by four sons, Brandon Powers of No. Scituate, Craig Powers, Ray Allan and Shane Powers all of Smithfield and a daughter Heather Trainor of Pawtucket. He also leaves numerous Grandchildren, nieces and nephews, throughout Rhode Island. He was the brother of John Powers, Sharon Powers and Sally Powers all of Pawtucket, Richard Powers of No. Providence and David Powers of Warwick. He was the brother of the late Linda (Powers) Tremblay. Milton also leaves numerous Grandchildren and Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 9 AM in the Coelho Home, Central Falls, followed by a Funeral Prayer Service at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery,  Blackstone Blvd. Providence. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. A collation will follow at Murphy's Law, 2 George Street  Pawtucket
