Mary L. Populus, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Hope Hospice in Providence She was born in New Orleans, LA, a daughter of Sara Reams. She has lived in the Pawtucket area for several years. and was the wife of the late Sidney Populus who died in 1977. Mary had been employed in the health care industry for several years as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
She is survived by three daughters, Michelle Populus, her principal care giver, of Pawtucket, Deborah Scott and Cyd C. Populus both of Florida. She also leaves two sisters, Geneva and Cornelius and 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Devereux Populus.
