Mary Jennie (Kopka) Kennedy

Mary J. Kennedy passed into eternal life at the age of 98, She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Vaughn Kennedy Jr. Mary was born in Clinton, MA a daughter of the late Frank and Anelia (Franusiak) Kopka. She had moved to Central Falls at a very young age and lived most of her life in the city until her  illness.

Mary J. Kennedy was the last, of the older membership, of St. George's Episcopal Church in Central Falls. For the last few years, she was a member of Christ Church, in Lincoln, RI. Mary had been very well known in the community and very active in in St. George's  most of her life until  a change in administration brought her to Christ Church approximately 10 years ago. 

She is survived by a Daughter Sandra Lamb and her husband Fred, and Paul Howard, the husband of her late daughter Joan Howard. She was the proud grandmother of Jennifer ,Carroll and Kristine Barraco and Great Grandmother to Sarah Barraco and Vaughn Carroll.

At Mary's request, her Services will be private.
