Maria Altagracia Londono

Maria Altagracia Londono of Central Falls passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on the morning of Tuesday August 19, 2025.  She was the beloved wife of the late Luis Eduardo Florez.

Ms. Londono was born in Medellin, Colombia on March 24, 1930, daughter of the late Miguel Londono and Maria Calderon.  Her Catholic faith was present from the time that she was a baby after experiencing a near death experience.  Maria’s mother prayed to Altagracia for a miracle and that miracle happened with Maria making a full recovery.  With strength and a defined faith in God, Maria grew up, became a loving mother, dedicated homemaker and cherished wife.  She attended Mass every morning at Holy Spirit Parish in Central Falls. 

Maria is survived by her children, Gustavo Florez, Sigifredu Florez, David Florez, Luis Fernando Florez, Olga Florez, Ofelia Florez and Angela Florez.  In addition to her late husband, Ms. Londono is reunited with her son the late Dario Florez.  She was a proud grandmother of 21 grandchildren, a cherished great grandmother of 17 great grandchildren and a beloved great great grandmother of 2 great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother Francisco Londono.

A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be celebrated on Saturday August 23rd at 9:30am in Holy Spirit Parish 1030 Dexter St. in Central Falls.  Burial will be at a later date in Medellin, Colombia.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home of Central Falls.

María Altagracia Londoño de Central Falls falleció pacíficamente en su casa rodeada de su amada familia en la mañana del martes 19 de agosto de 2025.  Fue la amada esposa del difunto Luis Eduardo Flórez.

La Sra. Londoño nació en Medellín, Colombia, el 24 de marzo de 1930, hija del difunto Miguel Londoño y María Calderón.  Su fe católica estuvo presente desde el momento en que era un bebé después de experimentar una experiencia cercana a la muerte.  La madre de María oró a Altagracia por un milagro y ese milagro sucedió con María recuperándose por completo.  Con fuerza y una fe definida en Dios, María creció, se convirtió en una madre amorosa, ama de casa dedicada y esposa querida.  Asistía a misa todas las mañanas en la Parroquia del Espíritu Santo en Central Falls.

A María le sobreviven sus hijos, Gustavo Florez, Sigifredu Florez, David Florez, Luis Fernando Florez, Olga Florez, Ofelia Florez y Angela Florez.  Además de su difunto esposo, la Sra. Londoño se reúne con su hijo, el difunto Darío Flórez.  Era una orgullosa abuela de 21 nietos, una querida bisabuela de 17 bisnietos y una querida tatarabuela de 2 tataranietos.  También le sobrevive su hermano Francisco Londoño.

El sábado 23 de agosto a las 9:30 a.m. se celebrará una misa de entierro cristiano a la que familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a asistir en la Parroquia del Espíritu Santo, 1030 Dexter St. en Central Falls.  El entierro será en una fecha posterior en Medellín, Colombia.  Los arreglos están bajo el cuidado y la dirección de la Funeraria Charles Coelho de Central Falls.
