Margaret (McKenzie) O'Dell

Margaret O’Dell of Pawtucket passed away on December 28, 2022 at her home.  She was 89 years old.  Mrs. O’Dell was the wife of the late Franklin O’Dell.

Born in Carp River, Michigan on June 15, 1933, Margaret was the daughter of the late George and Gladys McKenzie.  Mrs. O’Dell worked in the healthcare field as a LPN.  She spent several years of her career working for The Mansion Nursing Home in Central Falls. 

Margaret enjoyed crafts, shopping and dancing.  She was always involved in her children’s activities, even volunteering as a Cub Scout Leader.  Mrs. O’Dell also loved fishing, clamming and going camping. 

Margaret is survived by her loving children; Linda DaLuz, Wanda Jean Vincent Deshaies and her husband Thomas, Richard Kullander and his wife Clair, Thomas O’Dell and the late Vernon Robert Kullander and her step children; Franklin O’Dell, Jr., Evelyn Defusco and Collette Desmaris.  She was a proud grandmother of 13 and she had several great grandchildren.  Margaret is survived by her siblings; Glenn and Pat and she is reunited with her late brothers and sisters; Tony, Dick, John, Jim and June.

In accordance with Mrs. O’Dell’s wishes, private cremation was held in Western Hills Crematory in Cranston.  Arrangements are under the care of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home in Central Falls.
