Luz Santos

UPDATED:  AT THE FAMILY'S REQUEST, VISITING HOURS HAVE BEEN CHANGED FROM 12-4PM.  

Luz Santos a longtime resident of Central Falls passed away on January 29, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital.  Ms. Santos was born on August 1, 1979 in Attleboro, MA and was the beloved daughter of Candido Santos and Yolanda Ramos and her step father Tony Galvez Ramirez. 

Luz spent over 30 years living in Central Falls.  She was an avid family person and she was happiest when she was with her children.  Ms. Santos was an excellent cook and had loved going shopping.  Luz enjoyed music and having good times with family and her many friends.  Her spirit and commitment to her family will forever be admired by those who had the blessing of knowing and loving her.

Ms. Santos is survived by her children; Nyelli Sierra, Gyselli Sierra and Alexiel Sierra all of East Providence.  She was the loving sister of Candido Santos and his wife Kristin of West Warwick,        Belen Sierra Santos and her husband Moises of East Providence and Inez Galvez Ramos and her husband Daniel Martinez, Sr. of Woonsocket.  Luz is also survived by her nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Monday February 5th from 12-4pm in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 6th at 11am in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn-North Purchase Cemetery in Attleboro.
