Luis A. Olivera

Luis A. Olivera 55, of Springfield, MA died May 1, 2026.  He was born in Rio Piedra, Puerto Rico on October 21, 1970, son of Luis A. Olivera Rosario and Carmen Negron. 

Luis was raised and educated in Puerto Rico.  He was a construction worker for many years. 

Mr. Olivera had an incredible sense of humor and a natural, outgoing personality.  He was never seen without a smile on his face.  His style was always on spot, everything matched and flowed together.  Luis loved a good party but, above all else, his family was his everything.

Mr. Olivera is survived by his children, Luis Olivera Feliciano and Keishla Rodriguez, both of Rochester, NY.  He was the proud grandfather of Gabriella-Marie Rodriguez.  Luis was the adored brother of Dorien Olivera, Carmen Olivera, Francisca Olivera, Rosa Olivera, Tatiana Olivera and Carmen Olivera.  Favorite Tio of several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private visitation prior to cremation.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.
