Linda Ann Lichtenberger, 66, of Riverside passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice Center in Providence on May 28, 2021. Born November 1954, she was raised in Pawtucket by her parents Joseph Hunt and Sylvia Mickelson.
Linda worked in security for nursing homes and assisted living facilities for most of her adult life until retiring when she became sick. She was a woman who was incredibly devoted to her family, she taught her children and grandchildren the importance of sarcasm and the power of laughter. She was always someone who came out of left field with something shocking, her laugh was infectious. When she wasn't shocking her family with her quick wit, she was playing games with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren; she taught them early to play games like Cribbage, Solitaire, Queens, Hearts and Go-Fish. She taught some of the children to spell by playing Scrabble with them. She also played the organ regularly.
Linda is survived by incredible children; Jason Lichtenberger, Nicole Litchenberger and Michael D. Lichtenberger; brothers, Timothy Hunt, Wayne Hunt, Kevin Hunt, Kenny Hunt, Bobby Hunt, Joe Hunt, Thomas Hunt; her eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Cheryl Hunt.
