Leonidas Antonia Valdez

Leonidas Antonio Valdez, 70, of Pawtucket passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on October 8, 2021. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of Maria Monagro and Cirilo Valdez. 

Leonidas was a treasured matriarch in her family and just recently traveled to the United States with her husband, Leoncio Estevez; she was a mother of five and worked to seamlessly to blend her family and provide a safe home for the children she cared for; which included her twelve grandchildren and great-grandson.

She is survived by her loving children; Kennedy Estevez of New Jersey, Victor and Pedro Jose Estevez, both of the Dominican Republic; her step daughter, Estephania Estevez of Manville, RI, her daughters, Cirila Fazado of Pawtucket, RI and Maria Antonia Estevez of the Dominican Republic; her twelve grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was predeceased by both of her parents.
