Kayla Marie Cordeiro of Providence and formerly longtime of Pawtucket passed away on June 10, 2024 at Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice in Providence surrounded by her loving family after a courageous 6 year battle with cancer. Miss Cordeiro was 36 years old. She was the daughter of Kimberly Bellavance and Carlos Cordeiro.
Kayla was born on December 7, 1987 at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital. She was a naturally gifted hard worker and worked for School Street Dermatology in Pawtucket for several years as a receptionist. In the past she worked as a manager at Dunkin Donuts which was so fitting because she loved her iced coffee. Miss Cordeiro was the definition of a fighter and she proved that more than ever starting in 2018 when she was diagnosed with cancer. Family was everything to her and she was a fantastic Mom. In addition to her motherhood, Kayla was a beloved and appreciated daughter, sister and auntie.
Some of Kayla’s enjoyments in life included dogs, caring for her house plants and going to Scarborough Beach to spend time with family and friends. Everyone who knew Kayla will forever be impacted by her love and touched by the impression she made in her 36 years on earth. She will be loved forever and never forgotten.
In addition to her parents Kayla Marie Cordeiro is survived by her loving children, Jeremiah J. “JJ” Cordeiro, Rozay Star Cordeiro, Destinee Serenity Silva and Derin Sameer Silva. Kayla was the beloved sister of Taralyn Cordeiro, Mariah Ann Bellavance and Kyle Thomas Bellavance. She was also the adored aunt of several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes all services will be held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.
