Kathleen Ruth McGettrick RN

Kathleen R. McGettrick, 89 of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Sunday. She was the wife of the late David W. McGettrick. Kathleen was born in Newport, RI, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Laurence and was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket. She was a graduate of the St. Joseph School of Nursing and practiced her profession for several years working in local Providence hospitals. 

She had been a member of the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association, Weed & Seed and a member of the Senior Council of Pawtucket. She leaves two daughters, Susan Goggin of Dedham, MA and Evelyn A. Coderre of Central Falls, and 3 Grandchildren. She was the twin sister of the late Margaret "Peg" Brillon.

Visitation in the Coelho Home, Central Falls, will be THURSDAY from 9 am with a Prayer Service at 11 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully welcome to attend. Burial will take place in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.
