Karen (Almeida) Walsh

Karen (Almeida) Walsh of Attleboro, Massachusetts passed away on May 8, 2025 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Karen was born on March 10, 1958 to August and Gisele (Pare) Almeida.  She worked in accounting for several years, particularly in the Accounts Payable department.  Karen's positive energy could fill a room and naturally drew people to her.  Anyone who knew Karen, loved her.  She enjoyed sitting around the firepit, a glass of red wine in her hand with her children and their friends.  Ms. Walsh was a fantastic mother and fought through tough times with grace.

Ms. Walsh is survived by her sons, Alex Walsh and Sean Walsh.  Karen was the proud grandmother of Amara Walsh and Emerson Walsh.  She was the beloved aunt of Ryan Kelaghan, Sean Kelaghan, Kyle Kelaghan, and Lauren Bevilacqua.  She is also survived by her sister, Elaine Kelaghan.

Karen’s life will be celebrated during Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend from 10am-11:45am on Saturday June 21st in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.  At the conclusion of the visitation a Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home by Rev. Fr. Dariusz Jonczyk.  Procession will follow to Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery on Prospect St. in Pawtucket.
