Juana Rivera Rosa 69 of Central Falls died peacefully on the afternoon of Good Friday April 18, 2025, at the Philip Hultiar-Hope Hospice Center in Providence. Juana was born on January 17, 1956, in Puerto Rico. She earned a degree in Computer Science from a Technical College in Puerto Rico. Later in her life, she lived in The Bronx, New York City before settling in Central Falls in 1999.
Being around family and friends was everything to Juana. She loved dancing and eating. Being a mother was something that came as a natural gift to Juana. She raised her children and some of her grandchildren. Their many successes are a testament to her abilities.
Juana Rivera Rosa is survived by her children; Agnes Melendes of Puerto Rico, Elizabeth Castellano of Central Falls, Luis Castellano of Central Falls and Betsy Torres of Providence. She leaves behind Vilma Cartegena of Providence, whom she considered a daughter in her heart. She was the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and a great grandmother of 1 great grandchild. Beloved sister of several brothers and sisters.
Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Wednesday April 23rd from 6-9pm in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.
