Juan Carlos Navedo Rios

Juan Carlos Navedo Rios of Providence passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on Thursday June 26, 2025.  Juan was 48 years old.  He was the loving Dad of Aiden Leogone Navedo Rios and the long-time partner of Tamara Gonzalez, who was committed to Juan since 2004. 

Juan was born on October 23, 1976 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  He was the son of the late Eugenio Navedo and Maria Virgen Rosario Rios.  He came to Rhode Island from Puerto Rico in the 1990’s.  Juan was an animal lover, especially dogs.  With a deep faith, Juan often talked about God.  He loved to help people.

Some of Juan’s other enjoyments were being out in nature, whether it was at the beach or hiking and exploring.  One of his greatest passions was fishing; Juan truly loved it.

Juan leaves behind his son Aiden and the love of his life, Tamara Gonzalez.  He leaves several relatives and friends. 

Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Wednesday July 9th from 10-11am in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.  A service will be celebrated at 11am in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Greenwich.
