Juan A. Lopez, 55 of Central Falls, RI passed away on Monday April 24, 2023, at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Maria D. Ayala and the late Juan Lopez.
He spent his childhood and early years in Attleboro, MA before moving to Central Falls. Juan had an affection for all animals, especially dogs. He enjoyed listening to music and loved being forever outdoors. He was a sports enthusiast and at one time an avid weightlifter.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his two daughters; Kayla Rios and her husband Yedinson of Lincoln, RI and Chelsea Easton of Bon Aqua, TN. He was the grandfather of Lorena, Brandon, Lucas, and Ellis.
Juan is also survived by his three sisters and three brothers; Luz Maria Lopez of Central Falls, RI, Luis Lopez and his wife Linda of Pawtucket, RI, Juan Melendez of Puerto Rico, Daisy Lopez Ayala of Cumberland, RI, Elsie Parent and her husband Ken of Attleboro, MA, and Jose Ayala of New Bedford, MA. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Juan will always be loved and greatly missed.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours from 5-8pm on Tuesday May 2nd in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am on Wednesday May 3rd at St. Mathieu-Holy Spirit Parish 1030 Dexter St. Central Falls. Interment will be held on a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket.
