Jovani Luis Velez

Jovani Luis Velez of Cumberland formerly of Pawtucket passed away suddenly on January 30, 2022.  Jovani was the son of Miguel A. Velez  and  Victoria Arroyo.  Mr. Velez worked as a sales associate for Auto Zone. He was an avid baseball and football enthusiast and had played for the Central Falls Panthers and also played soft ball for the Los Piratas softball team. In addition to his father, Jovani is survived by his son Dariel Velez.  He was the brother of Larry Cruz, and  Melanie Velez, Moses Cruz, Mike Velez and Darisel Velez.

Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday February 10th from 5-8pm in the Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.  Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 11th at 9am in Holy Spirit-St. Matthew's Parish 1030 Dexter St. Central Falls.  Burial will follow in North Burial Ground 5 Branch Ave. Providence.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, masks are required to attend visitation.
