Josephine D. (Bozek) Bessette

Josephine (Bozek) Bessette 93 of Pawtucket passed away on March 8, 2026, at Pawtucket Falls Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was the wife of the late Eugene J. Bessette. 

Josephine was born in Central Falls on January 30, 1930, daughter of the late Josephine D. (Molak) and Mitchel Bozek.  She was a 1951 graduate of East High School and later earned her associate’s degree from Katherine Gibbs School.  Throughout her career, Josephine worked as a secretary at Livermore & Knight Co. Printers, as an office manager at Diet Workshop in Franklin, MA and as the bookkeeper for her husband Eugene’s plumbing company. 

Mrs. Bessette was the sister of the late Matthew Bozek and the sister-in-law of the late Josephine Bozek.  Beloved aunt of Beverly Bozek of Hilton Head, SC and Susan M. Bozek of E. Falmouth, MA.  She is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Visitation to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held from 9-10am on Thursday March 12th in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.  A funeral service will be celebrated from 10-11am.  Procession to Seekonk Cemetery will follow.
