Joseph John Oatley, 34, of Pawtucket was found at home on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 by friends and family. Born in Providence, he was one of three children of Edward Oatley and Roxanne Gardner.
Joseph was a talented artist who was working on a tattoo apprenticeship- as a decorated canvas himself, he knew the importance of tattoos in this day and age. He understood the heavy burden carried by artists to produce quality pieces that could last a lifetime. Another art form that he proudly catered to was the beard that he worked so hard on, he tended and trimmed it like a prized bonsai, this added TLC made a difference in his confidence that was noted by everyone who knew him.
Joe is survived by his parents; his sisters, Alicia Couture of Pawtucket, Jessica Oliveira of Cranston; Aunt Dawn, Aunt Tina, Aunt Terri; and a host of nieces, many cousins; his best friends Manny Turbides and Staci Turbides.
